My name is:
Stacey Blades.

My current job is:
Rock star, lol! Guitarist for L.A. Guns.

My hometown:
Los Angeles.

My current album or project is:
Symphonic Slam Guitar Instrumental.

Former bands:

My guitar influences growing up were:
Randy Rhoads, Jimmy Page. Jimi Hendrix, Neal Schon, George Lynch & Joe Perry.

The guitars I use are:
Gibson Les Pauls, B.C. Rich Gunslingers, DRC Custom Shop “Blades” & Fender Strats.

The strings and tunings I use are:
Rotosound 9’ gauge.

My current rig setup consists of:
Marshall JCM 900 Head and Marshall 4x12 Cabinets.

My normal songwriting process consists of:
Coming up with a chorus or melody line with a riff.

My favorite all-time guitar solo:
“Vampire off Tales From the Strip 2005.”

My favorite all-time guitar solo (from another guitarist):
“Flying High Again” -Randy Rhoads (Ozzy).

Favorite all-time song (any artist) is:
Too many to list, lol.

Favorite song by our band:
“Sex Action.”

Favorite song to perform in front of a live audience:
“Wheels of Fire.”

My Career highlight thus far is:
Touring with LA Guns.

My most embarrassing moment on stage:
Falling into Steve’s Drum Riser in Pennsylvania.

Other than my guitar and amps, the one piece of my gear that I cannot live without is:
Ibanez Tube Screamer Pedal.

The first song I ever mastered on guitar:
“Hotel California” when I was about 12.

My first guitar was:
A piece of junk, lol… Zebra Acoustic.

The first time I ever heard our band on the radio was (when and where):
My old band Fraidy Katt on Q107 in Toronto 1991.

If I am only sure of one thing in life, It's:
God is Great!!

The one ritual I always perform prior to going on stage is:
Stretching my legs and warming up on my guitar, and a beer!!!

The exact moment I knew I would pursue a career in music was:
When I saw a giant Kiss poster!

The one thing most fans don't know about me is:
I love to Cook.

The best advice I could give beginning guitarists:
Practice and listen to as many different guitar players.

CD(s) I'm listening to right now:
David Bowie.

My 3 all-time favorite albums:
Aerosmith - Rocks, Ozzy - Diary of a Madman, and The Cult – Love.

Best gig:
2010 M3 Festival.

Favorite junk food:
Jalapeno Kettle Chips.

My biggest pet peeve:

The word or catch phrase I say too much is:

The hardest part of my job:
Lack of sleep.

What I like to do in my “off” time (hobbies):
Drink coffee, Watch Movies, and old shows on DVD, spend time with my lovely lady!

The first thing I do when I come home from touring is:
Throw my suitcase on the floor and kiss my girl!

Previous or first day job:
Road construction when I was 16.

Right after this interview I'm going to:
Take a nap, lol.

I couldn't imagine being on the road without:
My vitimans, lol!

If I wasn't doing the musician thing; I could really see myself working as:

Favorite movie:
The Graduate.

My mission in life:
To continue being a great musician.

My guilty pleasure band or artist:
Duran Duran.

My next goal is:
To make another awesome album with LA Guns.

The greatest contribution guitars/music have brought into my life is:
All the great rock n roll over the last 40 years.
